Management Team
Raphaël Gorgé, CEO
Engineer, Raphaël Gorgé joined the group in 2004, having spent 10 years working in the fields of finance and technology. He initiated and implemented the group’s withdrawal from the automotive industry (which accounted for 70% of its turnover in 2004) and directed its development towards new areas of activity, in particular safety for Professionals et Buildings. Raphaël Gorgé became the group’s CEO in 2011.
The merger of Finuchem and Balisco in 2009 marked the start of a new chapter in group’s history, and on June 30 2009 it became Groupe Gorgé.
This new chapter opened the company up to an exciting challenge: to expand the group’s 3 main areas of expertise, each with its own specific and attractive advantages. The division of Smart Safety Systems, with an active research and development policy, has a sound basis for continued dynamic growth. The work of the Nuclear Safety and Security division, already active across all French nuclear facilities, including the first EPR, and within China for the past ten years, presents encouraging prospects for the resurgence of the worldwide nuclear industry.
Strong in its ability to manage a variety of industrial projects (from turnkey projects to the most specific projects in the fields of interest in which we operate) the Industrial Project Services team can now be employed in a range of sectors.
Established in numerous dynamic sectors such as Defence and the Aviation and Nuclear industries, we embrace challenge, confident in our values and our enterprise culture. Our values are based on pragmatism, a strong service ethic, flexibility and autonomy, helping us assiduously lay solid foundations for a sustainable future.
Despite the delicate market situation for many of our activities our fundamental business culture and values carry us forward and make us proud of what we build together.
* EPR: third-generation power station,
established in Flamanville, France.

He joined the group at the beginning of 2006 as group financial director, after a career in the industrial sector with medium-sized and international companies (e.g. Ineo-Suez). Today, as deputy CEO, Loïc Le Berre is predominantly occupied as head of finance for Groupe Gorgé.
Engineer, Marc Bernard joined Groupe Gorgé in 2009 after working as a manager for various organisations in the industrial and service sectors, working with such companies as Vinci Energies.
Céline Leroy joined the group in 2007 after practising law with FRESHFIELDS BRUCKHAUS DERINGER, specialising in the fields of finance and mergers and acquisitions. Céline Leroy has a solid background in asset finance, mergers and acquisitions and the restructuring of medium-sized and multinational companies, in France and overseas.
